Parents:
Initially I would like to apologize to anyone whom I have spammed your email inbox with this message, or spammed with duplicates to home and work email. You are receiving this email because I am currently trying to get the information out to people at four different schools whom I believe have a student interested in marching band at South Warren High. My email list is a work in progress and contains errors.
Last week we had a couple of meetings to talk about the South Warren Marching Band. If you were unable to attend, you will find an attachment to this email. Please review it and discuss it with your child.
Since last week, I’ve had several questions about the non-refundable deposit:
What is its purpose? The purpose of the deposit is to insure that your child is included in the fall 2010 show. A specific drill spot will be written for you child. The $100 deposit gives the band directors the funds to buy music, pay the drill writer, and the other necessary costs for the activity. If we do not receive a deposit from you or you do not contact me with an issue, I can only interpret this a sign that your child does not want to participate. Please contact me if there is an issue.
When is it due? As listed on the attached form, it is due June 1st. I realize that this is a couple of weeks away.
Where do I send it?
Mail to:
South Warren Band Boosters PO BOX 2608 Bowling Green, KY 42102
Please make your check payable to South Warren Band Boosters and include your child’s name and “MBD” on the memo line.
If you are in a financial situation that prevents this deposit, please feel free to email me, and I will converse with you about that. Please feel comfortable to do so. I assure you all information you share with me would be confidential.
Please feel free to email me with any questions.
Best Regards,
Chris Cecil Director of Bands South Warren High School |
